Catching Up --- Finally -- 6 new posts

DISNEYLAND!
In February we took the kids.
In March Bryan and I went.

Finding our Brick.

Ahhh......you got my foot!

Our favorite ride.
Screamin' in California Adventures.
Can you find us?
No way was Steph riding.

Random Pics

We can't take Alex to Disneyland without walking
down to the Lego Store in Downtown Disney.
The boy loves his Legos.

Nathan loves being in the middle school Jazz Band.

Go helmet hair -- yikes.
I had a Friday a couple of months ago when, due
to all sorts of reasons, none of my daycare kids
needed me. I loved having a day off with Bryan.
I talked him into taking the four wheelers out
for a ride. I packed us a picnic and we rode down
to the river.

Brylie worked really hard this year
on her times tables. These are her awards.

Easter

For the last several years it has been a tradition
to camp at the Valley of Fire State Park for Easter.
We go with all of Bryan's family. This year his aunt
and some of her kids and grandkids joined us.
It was fun to have them there.

Setting up camp.
Ned, (Bryan's step dad) always
helps us hang something
red, white, and blue.

VeeAnn, (Bryan's mom) always has fun
things for the kids to do. And they love the
Easter egg hunt and all the prizes.
She is very generous and we love her lots.

There were so many pretty flowers in bloom.

The kids love climbing all over the rocks.
I usually take lots of pics of them on top of the rocks
but, I guess I forgot to get around to it this trip.
(Steph took a great one of my three kids that she
framed and gave me for Mother's Day.)

Memorial at Moab

On April 18 Bryan, Julie and Nathan
traveled to the crash site near the
Moab Airport. (We could see the airport
from the crash site.)
I (Julie) was very nervous about going to see the site.
However, it was an neat experience.
I'm glad I had the chance to be there for the Memorial.
Some high school kids from Cedar put it all together.
They did a fantastic job. They had to get special permission
from the BLM to have the marker placed there. It's one of
two that the BLM has ever allowed.

I think this is where the plane first hit the ground.

It's hard to see in the picture but this is the large
burned strip where the plane slid across the top of the hill.

Then it slid down this slop.
It stopped at the bottom of this hill,
where they placed the large rock
with the plaque on it.

Camping At Zion RV

We don't usually camp at an RV park,
but we love this one.
It is the only 5 star RV Park.
It is just outside of Zion Nat'l Park.

Zion the Lion

Bryan sure can grill up a great meal.
(He usually isn't this fashion challenged,
it was chilly and he was desperate.
He's really showing off his Disney clothes.)

We felt a little out of place.
The host stuck us in between a
bunch of fancy coaches.
Ahhh.....someday.

More Pics

So glad I get to spend 8hrs a day
with this sweet little one
