5K

On Saturday, I participated in my first official 5k. I had only prepared for about a week before so I walked most of it. My friend and I walk that far every morning. I hope to cut my time in half. I haven't done much exercising for several years. Now I'm up at 5am for walking, counting calories all day, and working out at the gym most evenings. I'm in a contest. I joined the contest at the last minute and they told me Nathan was too young to join. Then when it was too late to sign up I found out that he wasn't too young. I had just talked to the wrong person. So he's not official but they let him do all the training with me. It's nice to have something we can do together. Bryan is very supportive. I can't seem to get dinner ready soon enough so he gets left to finish cooking and serving. So far, he has liked all my new recipes. Now if I could just get him to walk with me. Our family goal is that all of us participate in the 5K in Kanosh this summer. We all have a lot of work to do. (Janeece you inspire me but not enough to post a picture. :) )

Good for you Julie! I would like to exercise too, but there is NO WAY I'm getting up at 5 am to do it! Really, I admire you for being motivated enough to get up so early. Good luck in your contest!

I know we talked about all of us doing the 5k in honor of Keith. I haven't even started to think that way. So you are way ahead of the game! Good job! I am impressed! And WAY TO GO NATE! Love you!

Good for you! I am so amazed at the 5 AM thing. I'm with Carly, there is no way I could drag myself out of bed at 5 AM to exercise.

Hey Julie
This is Brittani. (Janet's Evans Daughter.) I just thought I would say Hello. I cant believe how much you and your family have changed. I think the last time I saw you was when Nathan was a little baby that was forever ago. Its great talking to ya.
